UNIQUE GLASS:

  • sculptural objects using glass, wood, stone,
  • large sculptural installations,
  • space arrangement,
  • interior design elements.

UTILITY GLASS:

  • tableware,
  • company glassware for restaurants, hotels, etc.,
  • advertising gadgets,
  • unusual architectural glazing,
  • unique lamps and other forms of lighting,
  • furniture with glass elements.

I treat glass as a sculptural material; I want to bring out its ephemeral beauty. I use the natural behavior of this extraordinary material. Glass is perfect in itself, I try not to overshadow its brilliance, to show its character rather than decorate it.

During the creative process, obvious solutions are not satisfying for me. I like challenges, I like the element of surprise, playing with glass and meaning, the resonance of a given work. I like to change the context and look at glass and the world from a distance.

Sometimes I am a glassmaker, sometimes a sculptor or designer. I transform my emotions, experiences, people I have met, and nature into glass.

I love glass, wood, simplicity, and expressiveness. Glass is an expressive sculptural material, refined and “beautiful” in itself. Showing the decorativeness and beauty of glass seems too simple and obvious to me. I prefer to treat glass as a material that is fragile and ephemeral like air, water, or ice, which momentarily conceals a secret only to reveal it later.
Wood and glass are a soft combination, safe and tension-free.
